United Kingdom for the very first time! After captivating hearts across North America, we're

Manchester: A Glowing Night at Heaton Park

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, we’ll illuminate Heaton Park (Middleton Road, Higher
Blackley, M25 2SW) in Manchester. Gates open at 4:30 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy
food trucks, live music, vendors, and a fun scavenger hunt. The main event—designing and
launching your personalized lantern—takes place between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM, transforming
the water into a sea of glowing dreams.

Tickets are on sale now! Early Bird pricing is just £20.00 until August 15, 2025 (a 46% discount
off the regular £37.43). Regular tickets are £24.52, and at-the-event pricing, if tickets remain, is
£37.43. Children under 8 get free admission with a paid adult ticket (lantern not included). Each
General Admission ticket includes festival access, a lantern kit with a tealight and marker, entry
into our scavenger hunt giveaway, and a gift pack with playing cards and a drawstring bag.

Birmingham: Lighting Up Dartmouth Park

A week later, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, we’ll bring the magic to Dartmouth Park in West
Bromwich (B71 4AS). The event follows the same schedule, kicking off at 4:30 PM with activities
leading up to the lantern launch from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Early Bird tickets for Birmingham are an even better deal at £18.00 until August 15, 2025—46%
off the regular £33.69. Regular pricing is £22.07, with at-the-event pricing at £33.69 (if
available). Like Manchester, each ticket includes festival access, a lantern kit, scavenger hunt
entry, and a gift pack. VIP tickets, which include exclusive tent access and a commemorative
T-shirt, are also available for both events based on availability.

What to Expect at the Water Lantern Festival

The Water Lantern Festival is a celebration of community, hope, and connection. Attendees of
all ages come together to decorate eco-friendly lanterns with messages, drawings, or dreams,

then release them onto the water at sunset, creating a breathtaking display. It’s a family-friendly,
alcohol-free event filled with food trucks, live music, vendors, and a scavenger hunt. Our
sustainability promise ensures every lantern is retrieved post-event, leaving the venue cleaner
than we found it, with all materials made from biodegradable paper and wood.

What’s included with my ticket?

Each General Admission ticket includes festival access, a floating lantern kit (lantern, tealight,

snacks, plus a commemorative T-shirt. The Date Night Package includes two General
Admission tickets and a cozy blanket.

Can I get a refund?

What happens if it rains?

We plan to hold events rain or shine, but safety comes first. If unsafe weather or local authorities
require a postponement, we’ll notify you via email and update our website and social media.

Can I bring my own food or drinks?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring food and drinks, but please note this is an alcohol-free event. Food
trucks will also be on-site with delicious options.

Is there an age limit for the lantern festival?

No age limit, all are welcome! The Lantern Festival is open to all ages and is a family-friendly
event. Children ages 8 and under are admitted free and do not require a ticket; however, they
will not receive a lantern. Please note that all attendees must agree to the event waiver, and by
entering the festival grounds, you acknowledge and accept its terms.
