Refund Policy
Tickets are non-refundable unless Ticket Protection was purchased. At The Water Lantern Festival, we are committed to providing the best possible experience for our guests. We understand that plans can change, which is why we offer Ticket Protection for added peace of mind. If you choose not to purchase Ticket Protection, you will not be eligible for a full refund in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Ticket Protection Refunds: Refunds are available exclusively to customers who have purchased our Ticket Protection. This protection ensures that if unforeseen circumstances arise, you can receive a refund or reschedule your ticket. Without Ticket Protection, we are unable to offer any refunds, or cancellations.
How Ticket Protection Works:
- Ticket Protection must be selected and purchased at the time of the original ticket purchase.
- If you need to cancel your ticket, you must contact us within 24 hours before the event to receive your refund.
- Refund requests will be processed in accordance with the conditions of the protection plan. You’ll receive a refund for your ticket price and any additional items purchased, minus the processing fees and the ticket protection fee.
Inclement Weather Policy
Rain or Shine!
We’re committed to holding our events, come rain or shine. The safety and enjoyment of our participants are our top priorities, and we closely monitor weather conditions in collaboration with the city and venue. In the event of unsafe weather or if local authorities advise, we may need to postpone the event to a later date. If this happens, you’ll be promptly notified via email, and our social media pages and website will be updated accordingly.
Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we want to ensure that you are informed and supported in the event that we need to cancel or postpone an event.
- Cancellation by Organizer: If we cancel or reschedule the event for any reason, here’s what you can expect:
- Full Refund: You’ll receive a full refund if we cancel the event and do not reschedule it within 90 days.
- Rescheduled Event: If we reschedule the event to a new date, your ticket will automatically be valid for that new date, and no refund will be issued unless you have ticket protection and request a refund.
- If You Can’t Attend the New Date: We offer ticket flexibility options, including:
- Transferring your ticket to a different event location.
- Transferring your ticket to another person.
- Receiving a credit for a future event.
- Ticket Protection: If you have purchased ticket protection, you are entitled to an immediate refund if you need to cancel your ticket or if the event is canceled.
- Cancellation by Attendee: If you need to cancel your ticket for any reason and you have not purchased Ticket Protection you will not be eligible for a refund.
